Barcelona through my phone, day 2
/ Day 2 in Barcelona we got up quite eraly. The night before we bought some grocerys for breakfast, and then lots of fruit at the market. We bought Nutella, and I bought some yoghurt for my fruit, yummy. We had planned to go shopping this day but it was a sunday and the stores were closed, so we decided to go for a walk and take the calbe car we had sene the day before.
/ The cable car is called Montjuïc and I really think that's something you must try if you are in Barcelona. It was amazing going over the turqouise water to the other side. The tickets, for a single trip, was 11 euros which was a good price. There was another cable car once you got to the other side so we decided do walkt to it, which was a long way. Especially in that heat. Up hill all the way, and 25 degrees celsius. But it was definitely worth it, because talk about a view! WOW! One of the most amazing things I've ever seen. We took an ice- cream pause before we contiued up to a castle that was a bit higher up. Then we went down all the way to La Rambla, into the Gothic Quarters and to our apartment.
Utsikten // The view
// We bought some lunch with us back to our apartment. Me and my cousin bought noodles in a cup. A very simple lunch, and delicious too. Also had some chocolate. And this MIlka Chocolate was the best. Seriously? Why don't we have them in Sweden?
// After the lunch we went straight to the beach. Can you guess how much I've been longing for that? You know how I am regarding the beach, sun, ocean and palms. I was so happy. We got there around 2 maybe, there were no place for us to lay so we squeezed down between some people, hehe. The first thing we did was to take a swim. So nice water, and so wonderful. I didn't know where to go really cause I was so happy. The feeling abroad gives me is so amazing. I was floating around in the water for a while and then got up to get a tan. I listened to some really good documentaries on my phone and fell aslepe. Woke up and took a swim and got back to sleeping in the sun on the beach. My cousins woke me up when the clock was getting closer to 6. On our way home my cousins bought a crep each from some stands we passed on our way back. The sold everything. These creps, candy, salami, cheese, etc, etc.
// My hair ws full of salt when we came back but I didn't want to rinse it out cause it felt so nice. My hair was messy, but in a good way that only teh oceansalt will give you.
// On our way home we did some groceryshopping. We bought crisps, and I bougt the Arizona Green Tea and a MIlkyabar (the best "white chocolate" ever). Seriously, having chips after a day at the beach is a rule. And the ice tea was amazing. We got ready to go to a square we found to have some dinner. And som chips for appetizer is never wrong.
// We had found a really cozy square with lots of resturants that we decided to go to. But euw, the food was not good at all. Me and my cousin shared a vegetarian paella and mushroom pasta, but it was discusting. But, these were tourist resturants so nothing to expect really. After that we went and had a mojito on a bar really close to us for only 5 euros. Love Mojitos! Afetr that we went home and fell asleep really quick. You know that felling you have in your body after a day at the beach? When you have tanned and you're so warm inside? That was how I felt. Ohh.
